There is no joy like that of receiving flowers.

I, for one, love gifting and receiving flowers. A bunch of flowers symbolises sentiment and sensitivity for me. A simple act, flowers I feel often capture unspoken words and unvoiced emotions.

Making up with the Partner after a tiff. Connecting with an old friend who’s down in the dumps. Apologising to Mum for a senseless scrap. Wishing Daddy a happy birthday.

I have used flowers to say it all. And sometimes, more.

Honestly, my heart does a somersault when I am gifted a bunch!

And these that I got yesterday evoke sunshine, happiness and warmth. And I could do with a bit of that being sent my way.
