There are words to be read,
There are tales to be told.

There are dreams to be spun,
There are promises to be undone.

There are demons to be slayed,
There are glories to be shared.

There are lies to be shared,
There are truths to be feared.

There are roles to be played
There are lives to be lived.

But Time has a mind of its own,
Comes riding on a lease to town –
Brings choices and conflicts and confusion galore
As it makes you struggle in less (time) for more.

One lifetime is not enough, they say.
To love and lose.
